Technical details:
The shaft and blade are produced in one heat, so there are no errors in the complicated bonding of the blade and shaft. The foam core in the blade provides enormous flexural rigidity and also ensures an absolutely robust blade. The surrounding aramid edge ensures low wear and tear and very high impact resistance.
Extreme propulsion and yet gentle on the joints:
The blade of the Ergonom Pro is foamed, allowing us to profile it perfectly. The profile in the blade creates a so-called hydrodynamic lift during paddle strokes, generated by positive and negative pressure. This lift, in combination with the upstream Ergonom shaft, keeps the paddle blade stable in the water and allows it to be guided without fluttering.
The advantage of the forward-mounted Ergonom shaft:
The pressure point in the blade is located in front of the pulling hand on the shaft. This means that the paddle blade is “pulled.” It aligns itself during the pull, thereby relieving strain on joints, muscles, and tendons, as less holding force is required. In addition, the athlete's entire power can be converted into propulsion.
