The blade shape gives immediate catch to keep your boat moving fast. The blade edge is thinner and sharper to cut even better thru the water.  This paddle forces you to make more vertical strokes which is more efficient. With it's stainless steel blade tip you can push off from the sides of a course and ensures a longer lifetime of the paddle.
